My husband and I have always loved animals, all animals, especially dogs. It was our dream to start a small rescue when we retired. Well... Handsome Homer, the pug, entered our lives and inspired us to start now. So here we are, slowly building our little rescue on our little ranch (Madera, CA). Currently, we plan to take up to two (2) rescue dogs at a time. The dogs we focus on are dogs that are unadoptable. We provide love, vetting, time, and training to encourage a healthy, happy, adoptable dog. I am currently working to become a certified dog trainer to provide more help for the dogs. We foster for other rescues, providing love and safety until they either leave for transport or find a forever home. We also take in one (2) hospice dogs at a time. We already have dogs that will stay with us forever as sanctuary dogs. We have a chip-scanner available to our community, we network, support other rescues, and help make pup-connections. Since our time, resources, and space are limited, we are usually at max capacity. We do not solicit donations; we do not want to add to the community's burden and take away from other rescues that depend on donations. So if we don't have the time or funds, we can not do it.
We look forward to this amazing journey to help these precious babies.
